Any news on Voigt and Arvesen?
Hi
I'm a big Saxobank fan. Well, I've been a CSC fan since before the sponsorship name change, I've been following some of their riders' careers for some time now.
Is there any news on Jens Voigt after his spectacular crash and is he likely to change teams?
Is there any news on Kurt-Asle Arvesen after his earlier crash, and is he likely to change teams?
There's nothing about either of them on the Saxo website.
Thanks - and referring to my no.1 post, I'm still somewhat intimidated here.

Arvesen is doing the Tour of Ireland next week.
Not sure why either Voigt or KAA would want to leave Saxo Bank. They both seem to fit quite comfortably in the Saxo setup, both do their job well, and get chances of their own.0 -
Thanks for that link, Spanner.
I see you're just as new here as I am.0 -

IS he? Great news, thank you, I'll keep an eye on that Tour then. His collarbone was broken in two places during the TdF, I heard. Not sure why either Voigt or KAA would want to leave Saxo Bank. Arvesen's contract is due for renewal with CSC, sorry, Saxo, I thought.0 -

According to Cycling Weekly, yes:

And he's listed on Saxo's site: http://www2.team-saxobank.com/races.asp?r_id=1771#nuNot sure why either Voigt or KAA would want to leave Saxo Bank. They both seem to fit quite comfortably in the Saxo setup, both do their job well, and get chances of their own.

...and they have him leaving, but no word on which team he might be linked to. Kinda surprising to me.
Anyway, he's on Twitter (kaarvesen), so I just asked him what team he's on next year0 -
Kurt Arvesen might be joining Sky where his former Team CSC director sportif Scott Sunderland is now sports manager?? They worked together on the same team since the fakta team. Arvesen is a magnificient rider and would be having plenty of offers. There were speculations in the Danish press that Bak would join Sky too but Sunderland was later quoted saying that Lars Bak will not be going to his team.
