Q: Carbon straight bars - will any ol' stem do?

Hi Guys,

Just bought some old new stock carbon XC bars. And am wondering...

Do I need a special stem or will any old one do? Been told to remove any burrs from the clamp, but other than that and I good to go just replacing old bars with the new shiny carbons?

    yup, exactly what you said, make sure there are no burrs (lord only knows why there would be but everyone says this before fitting a carbon bar) then fitt it then take pictures and show them to us.
