I saw this last night, the guy is apparently selling 2 "Stunt Jumpers" for his friend. If I were this "friend", I would be a little annoyed at myself for letting some knuckle dragging ape write my advert for me without the use of a spellchecker.

So, if the general consensus is that they are indeed stolen, is there anything anyone of us consciencious people who don't like having their bikes nicked can do about it?

Maybe send them a note asking for the frame serial numbers and check it out with the Police?

I was wondering that myself, but I was concerned that if it became apparent to the owner that he'd been busted, he may just dissappear.
Is there anyway of notifying ebay or someone on the sly?

I just reported it to ebay. I hope they investigate it further and notify the police rather than just removing it!

mmmmm, not too sure about that myself. I think that first link, to the Enduro, is just from someone who is not entirely sure what they are looking at. Kind of like if I were to sell my computer.

Think the other one though could well be thieved though, looks like a pikey lockup to me. And he only seems to sell phones and bikes. Not that there is anything wrong with that or course.

Oh, and it's cash on collection only.

Going to email him with some interesting questions, see what he says :P

Those bikes in the second seller's listings are defo stolen IMO.

I'm sure the police have some dedicated ebay unit due to the sheer numbers of stolen items on it. I mind hearing bout it (though it was a couple of years back and I may have been half asleep at the time)

If anybody is near a police station, apparently, if you print off the listing, then take it into the station and tell them to report it to ebay, that's how it can be done.

That's absolute bullshit. They claim they don't condone stolen stuff being sold but their policices actively encourage it and protect those involved. Disgusting.
