Daccordi...

Hello,
I have had the Daccordi pictured since 1992, I bought it from Dauphin Sports at Box Hill. Apparently it was the bike raced by Graham Douce in the Milk race a short while before I bought it.
I am not doing much road work at the moment and am going to move the old girl on.
So where would I advertise a bike like this and how much would you expect it to be worth?
You can see the bike here.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards, Paul.

That's a lovely bike Paul.
The demand for bikes like this seems to have increased recently, witness the success of the Tour de Ville bike shop in Hackney, so it's hard to give a clear indication of price. That said, if it's in good condition then you should be able to get at least £500 for it.
You could try the classified section here or, and this would be my first choice, the classified section on the Retrobike forum (www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/).
Alternatively you could try Ebay but in my experience the price you get for a complete bike seems low.0 -
I see you've already found the retrobike forum.0

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I bought the bike for a Brighton to Liss ride, which it duly did in great style. It's a fantastic ride, I had never ridden a bike of that quality before and I wasn't expecting how alive it felt and how exciting it made riding.
But I am just hanging on to it for old times sake, it's in fair condition for it's age, it needs TLC as you can see from the pickies as I did not buff it up for the shoot as I wanted an honest appraisal. It's been garaged for most of it's life, all the bearings are smooth running and perfect and it still rides as it did when I bought it.
I'll take your advice and see what happens.

Dauphin Cycles when it was run by Tony Mills - brings back the memories! Nice bike - if you ever get round to selling it, you'll maximise the value by selling the frame and components separately - late 80s saddles such as that Rolls in discontinued colours can go for stupid money on ebay - likewise for a complete Super Record gruppo - I'd estimate £650-750. The frame itself is Columbus SL which wasn't top notchMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
