Hey, this may be a stupid question, but can you pump your tyres too far and then cause them to go flat. This seems to have happened to me, or are there other explanations?

    you can pump them till they explode, but you tend to know about it because it's a fairly good imitation of a gunshot!

    You may have a tiny piece of glass *just* poking through the tyre into the inner tube - it might be worth taking off the tyre, marking the puncture location on the tube and matching it to the tyre and checking for glass etc.
