i am looking to upgrade my rockshox dart 3 (100mm) forks on my kona cinder cone for a better fork. i do every type of riding, but mostly xc and 4x/dirt jumps so it preferably light and strong. i have around £200 to spend- maybe 225. any suggestions?
thanks

are you sure you mean that?
I would have said 100mm and then depends on air or coil.
If air then the Race.
the tora numbers are the longer travel trail forks the names are the XCish 100mm versions."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

would race stand up to jumps/4x/freeride?0

Yeah, the 318 has the tougher shell and crown. 318 is all travel air or Uturn.
If you are jumping and 4xing, you have voided the warranty anyway - is an xc frame.0 -
good point, so do you think the tora 318 u-turn or the 318 solo air? (sorry for all the questions)0

not according to sram."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

It says all travel on the SRAM site, but doesn't list the 80 or 100 option for some reason. But they do exist - I have one!0

still we agree on Tora. solo air and 100mm?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Lol, aye.
Just disc mounts to check now really, some IS and some are Post.0 -
I dont know if it's an option but I just put my RockShox Revelation 426 u-turn's up for sale in the classified section (110mm-140mm adjustable).
Wanting a little more then your budget but they are very nice forks if you could push it a littleCanyon Spectral AL 9.0 EX

Post on Tora lowers?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

On some, yep!
Weird forks Toras, some 09 Race and SL had them, and the switch is permanent for 2010

must be the new lowers coming through as they sold more than they expected."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I think you are probably right there.
So how many variety of Toras, 30?!0
