Hi
In a few months, at the start of next season I will be thinking of buying a disc wheel. I would not be looking to spend more than £600pounds for the disc. So far I have seen the planet x, X-treme g force and the fsa. I would like the renn as it is cheap but because it's from usa there are lots of extra taxes. Also, can you recomend a front wheel. I weigh 57kg so am looking for one that will not be too twitchy in a wind. my max for that would be £300-£400.
Thanks

I've got a HED disc and I think its about 30s faster on a flattish 10. I'm not sure what you will get for £600 but obviously the more you pay the lighter/faster the wheel will be. I went for clincher but if I was buying now I'd go for a tubular as its a bit lighter and you are unlikely to wear one out in a season. Front wheel wise I'm using the HED tri-spoke. I'd go for one with the deepest section possible! Good luck!

PS I go pittifully slowly on my TTs but like to have all the gear!

there's nothing sweater when your doing a time trial on a road bike with no deap rimmed wheels and you over take someone on a time trial bike with a disc and tri spoke.

Never happened to me  but I certainly see a lot of standard bikes struggling along. You don't play football in tennis shoes  I thought you were splashing out on a disc? BTW worse than being overtaken by a road bike is when you come 35th and the winner is 72 years old!!!!

    value for money CORIMA
i was very happy with mine, fairly light and rigid. upgaded it to zipp which is beautiful.
but mega money. i`ve also had a hed in the past ,which to be quite honest i thought it was aload of rubbish. bearings were crap, and far to whippy. as for the front , currently using a h3, which i`ve had for years and is bullet proof.
