The Burma Road, Aviemore

Anyone ever done this route? If so, did you do it clockwise or anti-clockwise? Heading off up to Aviemore for a few days soon and this route is on the 'to do' list. Most route reviews seem to go clockwise, although I've read a couple that say anti-clockwise is easier!

Also, I'd be interested to know if anyone has any other lesser-known routes that they can recommend around the Aviemore area.

I go to Aviemore most summers, so Laggan Wolftrax is on the list every year anyway - just looking for a couple of all-day routes, but nothing too strenuous!
