Chain length and rear mech question

Hi all,
In another thread I discussed getting a new rear cassette 13-28 replacing the existing 12-23.
Anyhow, I took the rear wheel to the LBS and they changed the cassette and I took it home and fitted the rear wheel.
Here is a picture of the new cassette on with the bike in the largest cog front and back.
The question is - is this rear mech angle ok and can I run with it - or will I need to increase the chain length?
Many thanks,
Dru.

+1 It looks about right. I certainly wouldn't make it any longer.0

That's fine. It's better that way than having the chain too long cos in the small / small combo you can have too little tension in the chain. (maybe not so much of an issue for road bikes but important for mtbs)0
