The sweet spot

Do you sometimes go for a ride and find everything is in the sweetspot?

Been for a ride tonight, after servicing/tweaking my forks today and setting my front mech up properly.

What a difference, the extra 15mm travel makes,to descending and it has also meant that I can run more sag in the forks too, making the forks much more plush.

I felt good too,not sure if this was down to me having more confidence in the bike or having shed a few pounds in the last month, but I really seemed to find a nice flow tonight.

Ever have rides like that?

I felt like that on saturday. For about 20 minutes, then I nearly backflipped off a jump  Never trust the sweet spot!

That was the thing, whilst riding,I kept thinking, must be time for a puncture,or a mechanical but it didn`t come.

I had a shocker yesterday, no energy at all. I woke up a bit at the end but until then I was getting left behind by people I'd normally beat pretty comfortably.

Think I've done too much trail centre riding lately and forgotten how to ride mud!
