So, undertook the ladybower route from MBR at the weekend... stopped concentrating on a simple, undemanding bridleway and managed to front-flip over the bars. Trapped my leg between the top tube and brake lever and fell with all my weight over the front end digging the lever into my quad.
Here's what the lever looks like:
Here was the initial damage, you can see the shape of the lever in the skin::
And last night it looked like:
Best bruise I've ever had! Though I can't believe I've knackered my levers - I've only had the bike a few months.

They threw me over the bars!
Awesome, love them a hell of a lot. And the levers aren't flimsy. Lot of power, plenty of modulation. Prefer them to Hayes 9, Hayes El Caminos and Hope Minis which are the other varieties of discs I've had.
I'd definitely get them again.0 -
