WOW!
I'd be sorely tempted if I hadn't only recently bought a new wolf ridge.
But, those ones only have 135mm drop outs, right?
I'm intending to get a Quake next year, but it will be for very heavy duty stuff, so I'd be after a 150mm thru-axle rear end, and at lest a 180mm fork.0 -
Did you keep your old wolf ridge ?
Just relised its only in a small size frame0 -
yeah, got both wolf ridges - the original, and the latest one
I'm going to keep it, maybe shed some weight off the old one. At the moment, it's a great spare bike so I can take inexperienced mates to the trails to give them a taster.
It's STILL a great ride, even after 11 years!
Wouldn't ever hesitate to get another marin.0 -
I just watched a Ransom fail to sell on fleabay for 1600pounds - same very very high spec. Are high end bikes shifting at all these days?0

no one wants to pay what a bike is worth and no one wants to sell for penuts cause new stuff is so pricey. it seems to have reacehd a bit of a stalemate in the second hand market unless you are willing to take a huge loss.0 -

Yeah I had an 04 rift zone and I loved it, the only (very minor) gripe I had with it was the back swinging arm seemed a bit flexy but as an xc machine it kicked my konas butt !
I love the new frames like your new wolf ridge their very smart0
