Super strong commuting wheels

I'm looking to dust off the old road bike and start commuting again, after a long lay off. I have a specialized allez with the standard wheels (can't remember what these are) which are currently horrendously buckled. I have had then trued in the past but the spokes always came loose and buckled. Currently i have virtually no braking as the wheels (especially the back) are that badly buckled. I've decided that the best thing would be to invest in some new ones. Please recommend any bullit proof wheelsets which can handle my aggressive riding. I also used to suffer from frequent punctures so i'm also looking for some puncture proof tyres - again any reccomendations would be appreciated. I don't mind compromising performacne as this is after all just a commuting bike.

Ambrosio Excursion rims are super tough and good value. I use them on my commuter and done some light touring with them; they've survived multiple pothole hits with a loaded up rack without the need for any truing. They've been completely maintenance free over about 3000miles so far and have taken some abuse - can't say better than that!
You can get them here with a hub of your choice - I have the Ambrosio hubs, and they're also running excellently:

(No link other than a happy customer!)
Tyres: lots of choice and lots of threads on the subject, but you can't go wrong with 25mm Rubino Pros 25mm IMO - essentially, this is the tyre/wheel combo I use for this kind of duty!0 -
Quality of wheelbuild is just as important as selection of components - typically a 36 hole hub built 3 cross would be plenty strong enough. You won't go far wrong with the like of Wheelsmith, Harry Rowland, Paul Hewitt or Pete Matthews, amongst others.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
