I wore my Cofidis jersy on my commute yesterday for the first time and broke my personal best on the way home 
I think it is the added presurre I put on myself to try and at least look like I'm riding fast. I also left someone for dead on the only climb home. He had been following me for a while and kept catching me at traffic lights. Once we got to the climb (its not much of a climb to be honest but its the only one there is :oops: ) I went for it and left him puffing and panting his way up. Never saw he again
So there you go. If you want to go faster wear a team jersey (but stay way from yellow, pink, polka dote, green etc unless you are really really fast)

'tis true. My Bouygues Telecom jersey makes me go faster. I get about an extra 0.7 mph out of it.I have nothing more to say on the matter.0

Just ordered a Euskaltel -Euskadi jersey which will put a lot of pressure on me to fly up steep hills. It will also make me pedal faster to avoid being caught by the local Mtb pedalling boys in blue should MI6 discover Euskaltel-Euskadi to be a cover operation for ETA.Two wheels good,four wheels bad0
