Planet X components choice

I'm going to purchase my SL Pro Carbon this week but not sure on which groupset to go with.
Originally it would have been the 105/Ultegra mix but now they're doing the Sram Rival build.
I think I'm pretty keen on the Rival but what's others opinions?
Also the choice in sizes in drop bars, 38-42cm. Is that the width? And what should I consider when deciding?

The latest Rival groupset is getting great reviews and I would go with this as an alternative to Shimano. Also the SRAM levers have concealed cables - something that Shomano is adopting later this year. A much neater arrangement. The chainset is also visually nicer in my view compared with the overstyled and cumbersome look of Shimano. Campag nicer still though, but unfortunately P-X don't / won't offer Campag.0

I hoping they'll do the new Ultegra 6700 soon.
(that doesn't help you, but I hope the planet x forum poster will be along soon).0 -
yes, that's the bar width. Default has always been that bars are the same width as shoulders, but some people have preferences both ways0

I had same dilemma and after a bit of e-research I went for Rival. From what I've read Rival has got really good reviews. I hope to get delivery early next week.
Re bar width I went for the 44cm - same as my current bars. As already suggested you'll need to look at the width of your shoulders and or current set up if appropriate.0 -
I built up my own bike with Rival and really like it. I find the double tap is very intuitive and easy to use.Tri Coaching
