It's not - it's in the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale.
I concede it's part of Greater Manchester, but then so are Bolton, Wigan & a number of other Lancashire towns.

The Hacienda used to be a decent club in Manchester- in the days before you got shot near it

The Hacienda shut the summer I moved down here. You've missed out Jabez Clegg's & the union Cellar. I had repressed the memory of Fridays.
