    As for the claud butler, belive it or not i used to own one of these years back around 95 i think, was infact a good bike if i remember correctly although not sure where my head was at the time but i resprayed mine a rather nice porsche pink color.
    (same color max power magazine had an escort give away car in, project something or other, the one before project slam if anyone remembers it)
    Either way they where definately mtb's but probably was doubled up as a road bike too.

    I have a 1986 Muddy fox courier MTB that's lugged. As is my dad's 1986 Overbury's Cross Fell.
