Carbon seatpost versus Planet X superlight?

Hi there

I have a Planet X Superlight bike and was thinking about replacing the superlight seatpost with a carbon one. Planet X state superlight is 243gms and the carbon FSA SLK post is 260gms. Will there be much difference in comfort as whole bike is carbon anyway?

    Any Planet X pro carbon owners changed their seatost to carbon?

    not all carbon posts are the same, in terms of comfort. The Spesh Pave for example, is very comfy and can tame a harsh ride to some degree (along with saddle, tyres, short etc.)

    Not used the FSA so can't comment directly. There are lighter posts though, if that's important. Also have a look at Ritchey, Easton...
