The bad news is I've just been informed I'm in danger of losing my job.

The good news is, fortunately I'm able to pay my mortgage off, which I've just done. :D

It's a very good feeling, just got to hope I can hold onto me employment now. :!:

It's a fab feeling getting rid of the mortgage. Freed up my income to take a much lower paid job but with a better work life balance and enjoyment.

Nice mortgage feeling Frankthertank. I got a big insurance pay out 3 years ago and subsequently now have a very small mortgage. It feels good.

Bon Chance on the job front.

Good news about the mortgage, Frank. It's a good feeling isn't it?

Not so good about the job, though. You don't work for 'You Know Who' in Hucknall by any chance do you? I heard they were cutting back. I took an early bath from the Derby branch a good few years ago :)

Yes, Geoff I'm at the Hucknall branch. I,m hopeful but until the fat lady sings you can't be sure. IF I survive this time it won't be long for next time. As for settling my mortgage I don't think it'll "sink in" until the first payment due date passes.

I don't suppose there's anyone left at Hucknall who remembers me turning up to meetings on my trike before riding back to Derby. Just like MPs I was enjoying myself on expenses

    Congrats.

But Frank - unless you have just won the lottery your giving your age away somewhat? I am sad to say have another 7300 days to go before my Mortgage is clear.
    I'm not counting honest. :)

Hope to job holds out, only 2.4 million after work! This country is in a mess!
