Three things in life which bring me great satisfaction are:

1. Climbing a difficult hill.
2. Growing my own food.
3. Having a really good dump.

What about you?

    1) Music

    2) Cycling when I'm in good shape.

    3) Finding out I got a first in my degree this summer - still brings a WHOOP! everytime I think about it.

    8)
    Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.
  • 1. Cooking a meal from scratch, still thrilling everytime.

    2. Enjoying a good night out without spending a fortune.

    3. Being there when people need me, and being able to help them out.

    1. Getting into bed after a knackering night shift, when MrsNapD is running round like a headless chicken getting the kids ready for school and I'm drifting off in a nice warm bed. Mmmmm, nom nom nom.

    2. When the kids do something amusing.

    3. Arresting baddies. Particularly before I got promoted when we used to do the house entries at 4am to get some drug dealer / murderer etc...

    I currently have this bizarre image of Napoleon and Pedro dressed up as officers with plastic truncheons and super soakers. I think I need to see a shrink!!!

    Anyway, back on topic...

    1) Cycling - never realised how much I missed it until I started again (and the feel of freedom, speed and hard work)
    2) Stage crew work - especially when something goes wrong backstage and the audience are none the wiser.
    3) Being with friends/family
    I have nothing more to say on the matter.
  • 1. 3 Points for the Spurs

    You must struggle to find any satisfaction based on the first two!!

    :lol: Lying in on Sunday Mornings makes up for the lack of the first 2.

    1. Watching Spurs play
    2. Long rides on warm dry days
    3. Lying in on Monday Mornings as I dont have to start until 10 and it only takes 20 mins to get to work 8)

    I feel it, when I sorrow most;
    'Tis better to have loved and lost;
    Than never to have loved at all."
