  • I prefer the one with your chin on the top of the bars, where the computer is, then have your elbows tucked in on top of your knees.

    You should see Pantani's from a few years back, when he had his buttocks above the rear wheel, and therefore his crotch behind the saddle!

    I'd be scared to put that much weight over the rear wheel.
  • Haha, I saw that aero position a few months back and tried it during some of my long rides on the decents. Feels really unsafe and I thought I was going to eat it at one point.

    I tried it once, was going great until i hit a pothole, my garmin hit my chin and nearly knocked me out.

    I've done the top-tube-drop before. Did it down a steep, straight hill 35 degrees down. Needs a lot of forethought and you need to know your route and road inside and out. Scarey as hell the first time you try it.
