Slightly buckeled wheel?

Hi,
When I'm riding it looks like the front wheel is ever so slightly buckeled/bent.
Also 2 of the spokes are quite bendy (loose?).

Does this make the Wheel unsafe for off road riding - XC, some light jumping, drop offs....?

Should I just buy a new wheel soon?

Thanks

Take it to your LBS -- they'll sort it out for about a tenner.

I wouldn't ride it like that, broken spokes or nipples alter the balace of the wheel, hence the buckle. If you carry on riding you could end up needing a new wheel rather than as said, about a tenner outlay at your lbs

  • yeh riding on it will only make it worse, get it to the shop and sorted, as stated above it wont cost much,

Or if you have a spoke key (on alot of multitools) why dont you just tighten the spokes up? I know its hard to get a wibble out of a wheel but you never know your luck.

End result may still need a visit to lbs but its sunday evening so why not give it a bash
