WImbledon but looking to escape...
HI,
I've just found this site. Am wanting to start MTB - got the fitness but lack bike skills. I'm looking for anyone who lives in the neighbourhood for riding in the evenings or perhaps anyone who wants to go away for a longer exploration, or is there a group who meet at random places? For example, I'm off to the New Forest today and would like to do day trips or if a group then camp and ride all weekend. I want to get out on the bike and explore the country as opposed to riding round Richmond Park ad WImbledon Common...
Anyone know of a group I could hook up with?

I live in Sutton and like you try to escape the London Madness
try http://www.bobmbc.com/ a great group who meet at or nearby Swinley Forest which is near Bracknell. (45 mins away). There are some fatantastic rides over there - alot better than Richmond or the Common and the group has a huge range of abilities!
