I like the OCP photo! A completely white bike against a white garage door. Nice.

Ì need my eyes testing as i cant see it at all, is it a stealth, invisible to the naked eye, in which case where did you buy it and how much did it cost. Oh, and how do you find it when you leave it anywhere.

...yep, the Snobike tyres are a little wide for normal road use, so I'd probably change them.

The LSD "Tripper" may be a better option, if you're planning on using the bike for touring / festivals etc. as it has eyelets for a pannier. :D

O.K., Ridley make great bikes, but for a grand you can get full carbon (Boardman, Planet X, Ribble).
Suggest you give it a test ride ?

what you think of the allez? My genesis has Ultegra, 105 mix, He says he can get me the allez with 105 black, would i notice much of a change, my current de-railers r ultegra and the shifters r 105 as 2 r the calipers.

Might push him discount on a tarmac elite.

my allez has tiagra full groupset except from the brake blocks which are now koolstop. its a good starter bike tho i dont think it would have as good an acceleration as a full carbon frame would have. try for the tarmac.

HI djbarren, i have a 2010 full carbon tarmac elite from specialized and i love it i went all out and brought the barmac s-works wedge bars as well for an extra £230, this bike is absolutly awsome!!! It rides like you are flying a stealth jet so responsive and light as hell.

I would have this over the trek 1.9 purely cause i think its the better machine, the only other option mate is the planet X route, we do talk alot about this company and tbh if i hadnt already landed a spec tarmac elite i would be riding a planet X full carbon right now! the specs are really good, finish is cool and efficinent and the bikes look superb. The spec still edges it overall, but if you want something diff to a typical brand name then spend £1500 on a planet X seeing as the sec tarmac elite costs £1600 ( just under) i was lucky i work for HBOS and got mine through a firm called Wheelies direct they give Hbos staff an instant 20% off the purchase meaning mine cost £1349, a proper bargain.
Look on my topic ( CARBON DELIGHT) and see mine for your self ( ignore the cages though i picked those, they dont come with any.. ;-) but i have y reasons for buying them which will be obvious at a later date.

    GoodChoosing

Incorrect. The only option that is to be considered above all and any others at a grand is a Cannondale CAAD9. One of the best frames ever made. Ever.
