Does anyone know which brands of shoe have a the widest fitting ? Or which brand does a wide fitting in addition to their regular range ?

Thanks!

  • I have wide feet and have trouble getting comfortable shoes of any type.

I have two pairs of Specialized and they are fine. My LBS says that this is because they are designed for western feet, Shimano are narrower for eastern feet etc - don't know whether this is bullshit or not, by that account Mavic would also be OK.

Also be aware that Spesh have odd sizing for thier premium shoes and you have to order a size up. It's all on the box.

    Hope this helps.

Specialized and Northwave are two of the widest brands, would recommend those. I've also heard that Lake make some wide shoes too, though I haven't seen these for sale in the UK.

Sidi do a 'mega' version of their shoes for people with wide feet, for example: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=29816
