Hi all
I got a question. Which bike should I buy.
Rockhopper Pro:

Orange Crush s:

Cube LTD Team:

I'm a novice and have only been to Glentress 4 times but I'm hooked and sick of the hire bikes due to $hit worn pedals and tires trying to get used to different gears on different bikes.
I dont think I'll ever do the like's of the downhill stuff at Innerleithen(I aint got the balls or the skill) but i want something that'll last and defo survive the odd crash as I'm learning.
My other option is to purchase ex-hire from the hub at Glentess which would be a Genesis i0-id however I think I'd prefer to blow my cash on new as its alot of cash to waste if something went really wrong with the ex-hire.
I look forward to your devine wisdom....Thanks
john
P.s I do fancy the crush ALOT!!

the crush is a very diferent bike to the others but suprisingly for orange, it looks a decent spec for the money, especilly as the frame is meant to be so good and although it will feel a bit brutal, they are said to be hard as nails! even looks nice too.
the crush is a hard core hardtail, stiff, long forked and designed to be hard as fook, t'other two are xc orientated, especially the cube which is a race bike really by the looks of it.
if i had the money and wanted a ht bike for trail riding, id be tmpted by that crush, im genuinely gobsmakced that orange have come up with a well specced bike without a silly price tag.
a similar type of bike is this meridawhich i always thought looked like an ace bit of tough trail kit0 -
Thanks guys....Does anyone here own any of the above bikes? Would like to here an owners opinion especially on the Crush and LTD team0

Love the look of the Cube, stunning.
Adam.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

This is typical! I start looking at a new bike, come to part decision and then I see the cube and immediately have to change my under garments! Thanks guysIf it doesn't hurt in the process, its not worth doing in the first place!

Now you feel my pain brother!! Its beautiful aint it.0 -
you still need to decide if it is the right type of bike for what you want, not just the best looking to the eye.
the crush and tht cube are opposite ends of the ht spectrum.0 -
It is beautiful and I have not been considering the crush. The Cube fits with what I am looking for as it is more inline with the Evo8 and G3 which I am considering. I am going to be using it for adventure racing so I need something that can deal with every eventuality but not too heavy that I can't do climbs at the same time.
Any one know of any other bikes would suit for less than £1000?If it doesn't hurt in the process, its not worth doing in the first place!
