hey guys - first post, how are you? :D

I got in to the road biking thing earlier this year, purchased a Giant Defy 4 in order to do some riding in the Pyrenees with my brother. It sadly got nicked on day 1 of our trip (long story) however, I have the bug!

The insurance co has coughed up and I'm now looking at replacing the bike through the ride2work scheme. I need a triple as we are going to tackle the Pyrenean cols again next year.
Looking at this - anyone own one or have any feedback?
Cannondale Six 105 Triple

Look forward to hearing any road bike chat!

cheers

    hi
Hope you get a response on your six 105 questions, I've just bought a synapse carbon 105 compact and i'm well chuffed with it,looked at the six but thought it might be a bit too racey for a first roadbike :D heard they are very good though .
stayed with Cannondale as I really liked the bike and I have a v good local dealer ( Chelmer Cycles Chelmsford )
    Good Luck
  • Bought a Cannondale Six Carbon 105 this summer. I am extremely pleased with it - very comfortable (first ride was 80 miles and no discomfort - probably due in no small measure to getting fitted at Primera in Bournemouth). Also it was comfortable enough on a 140 mile trip a couple of weeks ago. The best thing about it though is it is great for blasting round the lanes when I only have an hour or so spare. I'm not a racer, but enjoy the extra fun on descents and acceleration compared to my other bikes (a steel Bob Jackson audax bike and a fixed 'tip' bike - both lovely rides but for different reasons). Cannondale make good frames - probably not the lightest, but definitely good enough for me - and I think I am quite discerning.
