Evil Sovereign. One bike to rule them all
actually I rode a cannondale M800 on the Great Wall, but that was a long time ago and I didn't have the evil then
this one actually;
covered 3 continents and at least 8 countries (that I can recall) on it
Possibly you'd need something a little more "floaty" for teh South pole though, like a Pugsley or somethingEverything in moderation ... except beer
Beer in moderation ... is a waste of beer
If riding an XC race bike is like touching the trail,
then riding a rigid singlespeed is like licking it
... or being punched by it, depending on the day0 -
Wow, must have been great.
Wonder if south pole would be possible - ie. grip on tyres?0 -
Sure it would with decent studded snow tyres, Scandinavian countries manage quite well, and as above, something like a Pugsley. You'd have to pick your time of year to do it obviously and i could imagine it would be extremely laborious wrapped up like that trundling across snow.0
