Think of getting a new hack bike and quite like the look of one of these bad boys. Does anyone have one? Are they any good? And what's the weight like, might be a bit heavy as it's a steel frame and has discs.

I think it weighs close to 11kg. Not really too bad considering the disc brakes, but then compared to a good £1000 road bike its very heavy (think Boardman Team at <8kg). Could probably shave a kilo of that with lighter wheels/tyres and some carbon bits. Its quite expensive though for the spec. It does look good (to me anyway) and would make a good commuter or light tourer. I guess its sort of along the lines of the Kona Sutra, only much better aesthetically.
    More problems but still living....

I'm waiting for the day a racer with disc brakes comes on the market... I think there is something on the german market, but they're struggling to catch up and I'm not sure the weight is the issue (4-500 grams more is not the end of the world). More like they're dangerous in case of falls in the bunch... discs are like blades.

This one can be converted into a racer but it's meant to be a cyclocross bike, really...
