Would a size 46 be a size 11.5 in U.S. sizing?

  • my experiance with Sidi's is they're made really small, had to send mine back for a bigger pair, so i'd go a size up if you're buying off the net...

I'm a size 9 UK (actually just over 8.5 but 8.5 is too small). I have size 43 SIDI Ergo 2 road and size 43 Mountain Bike Diablo Gore (I can even wear these with thick gore tek socks). Converting from size 9 gives about 43. They tend to be quite narrow fitting but for me are fine.

I take size 8-9 in normal shoes and 44.5 Sidis. My feet are long rather than wide

  • IMO sidis are best fitted to narrow feet. They make a MEGA version for wider feet. I think they are comparible to shimano sizing if that helps you. I wear 45shimano and 45 sidi. Sidis fit me great.

I generally wear around a US 11 / UK 10 size shoes. It all depends on how tight you wear your casual shoes though, i have my casual shoes a little looser, unlike my cyclign shoes which i like to be snug. Download and print the sidi shoe sizer to try, IMO its pretty accurate for length.

My experience is that they come up really small. I usually wear a 9 or 10 size shoe and i ended up buying size 46 which i think equates to about a size 11. They are a little long, but fit nicely.
