Upgraded Boss Peloton

Hi,
I'm thinking about buying an upgraded Boss Peloton as my first road bike. Have been contemplating between a second hand or new bike. This bike has been done up by a specalist, he's added components and here's it as a whole:
56cm oversize alloy frame with a Cane Creek aheadset and chromoly forks
Shimano RSX 14 speed STI levers
New Shimano Sora rear mech and a Shimano 105 front mech
New Shimano Sora dual pivot calipers
V section alloy rims with Vittoria Roma Kevlar tyres, alloy ahead bars and stem
Its been fully serviced with new cables and rides like a new bike
Seen some pictures and it's also a nice looking bike. Has also offered SPD pedals too, would you recommend these?
