He's terminated his contract and is without a team.

He refused to sign their ridiculous anti-doping contract and they wouldn't let him race. So he's quit and everyone is happy

    The cynic in me just see it as a tool the team can us if they are about to go t1ts up, slip a bit of testosterone in there and oooh, quids in!

    Wasn't the Katusha contract 6 times the annual salary as a "fine"? Surprised anyone signed it.

    I agree. 6x times salary is mad, it's a wonder they have any riders left.
    Good on him I say, it's not like he's going to have a problem finding another team, he's a class rider.

    Steegmans is linked with Bouygues, now? I was very surprised to read that. Bernaudeau signing riders that have actually won something... who would've thought...
