Which club to join in Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire

First post!! :D

I am 16 and i am looking to join a mtb club in either derbyshire or nottinghmashire. I have been riding my local trails since i could ride, but these are pretty crap. so if any one is in or could knows of a good club i could join it would very much appreciated

    Join DVATC, probably one of the best and most fun off road clubs around. Every tuesday they go out night riding without fail, and have a list of all the different rides they do. Also near enough every Sunday they'll do a longer ride round Derbyshire and sometimes in the peak district. they organise club camps, trips away to places like the lakes, scotland or wales. Also we eneter most of the 6hr, 12hr and 24hr events along with cyclo cross in the winter. So yeah pretty good club, look em up.

    Do you know how I go about joining? I've emailed the membership secretary and 3 other people listed on the contacts page of their website but nobody has got back to me.

    Also, any idea how much it costs to join?

    I went out with the DVATC last night and really enjoyed myself. I was made to feel very welcome as well.
