Looking around for first set of decent TT wheels for my road bike, been looking at the above, will get a disc later on depending how things go. I just wondered if anyone knew of any others I should be looking out for in these lower price ranges, or should I hunt down some second hand gear?

I think s/h is best for this - lots of kit on fleabay etc for good reductions on new price with minimal race only miles on.

Planet X wheels come up regularly for sale and it's almost end of the season so a good time to buy....

mfin, not sure what your budget is. Shiny bikes have the Vuelta carbon pro's (new) for £499:

Ta... eBay has them listed at £486 delivered too. I could go more for better wheels, I don't know how the Planet X compare or any others though, can just see a massive jump suddenly happens where you start looking at parting with a grand.
