Altura Strada Race Cape Opinions

Can anyone give me the benefit of their experience of said race cape. Want something for cold starts and occasional showers. I have a DHB hi viz one that doesn't breathe at all, want to swap for something less boil in the bag. Altura claim it to be waterproof and breathable but I take this with a pinch of salt of course....unless you can advise me better?

I've got one of these Strada jackets & it does a good job. Haven't tested it in torrential conditions as yet but for keeping showers off you it works fine. Packs away to nothing too and is windproof.
A good buy for the money I reckon. I was told that these jackets are best to be hand washed cold in order to keep them waterproofed.
