Anyone tried Superstar Components road brake pads?

Looking to get some replacement pads for the Tektro brakes on my Boardman, which aren't great. The superstar pads are cheap, but does anyone know if they are good?

Incidentally, does anyone know if Tektro brakes take Shimano compatible pads, as I suspect?
