    Ginger for me.

While on the subject of ginger, probably not to everyone's taste but just for a change in the warm weather, I 've taking another bottle with 'Bottle Green' ginger and lemongrass cordial. Very refreshing but don't use too much when making it as it's strong.

    Thread hijack over

Where from? I can't recall seeing it at my local ice cream place - Fouberts in Turnham Green

Ah Fouberts, oh the joy of working in Turnham Green. I get it from the thai smile supermarket opposite Ravenscourt Park. Great place to shop for asian food. I went in there today and they had these huuuuggggeee mud crabs you could buy!

Excellent all the more for the rest of us, you just stick to whatever boring food you've always eaten and leave the exotic stuff to those who appreciate it.

Good for you. I can't stand people who decide they don't like something without ever trying it.

I have tried it & didn't like it. It was in Japan and it just wasn't sweet enough for ice cream.

    BTW exotic as in:

    1. of foreign origin or character; not native; introduced from abroad, but not fully naturalized or acclimatized: exotic foods; exotic plants.

    not as in

    4. of, pertaining to, or involving stripteasing: the exotic clubs where strippers are featured.

I prefer white tea - is this available as an ice-cream?

You'll just have to add two sugars to it (and a drop of milk) if you haven't grown out of sweet tea yet.

Although doubtless somewhere on the planet there is a striptease act involving green tea ice cream, you just have to find it

I love it! I used to have it a lot in Japan. Starbucks used to do an iced green tea frappacino thing out there as well but it was waaaaay to sweet. Green tea isn't supposed to be sweetened to within an inch of its life.

I've not had green tea ice cream, I have had wasabi ic cream though, which is fantastic. If you've got a cold, or bunged up in any way a spoon of that clears out the old sinuses!

I'm not sure if it's widely available. I've only had it when I've been to a Japanese restaurant in Newcastle called Fujiyama's (which I try to visit on the rare occassions I'm working up there).
