Has gauge built in, comes with bracket and screws to mount under bottle cages, fairly light to me. bargain.Account requested to be deleted0 -

These are good value http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Topea ... 360011991/ ...the head works well, I had a Silca head and a Blackburn one both play up and since using this one haven't had a problem, they do plenty of models with this dual head on them too, this is one of the cheaper ones. (silca one the rubber wore off centre and couldn't pump it up without someone else holding the thing on, quite normal... BlackBurn one the plastic seesaw mechanism inside that moves into position when you pull the lever to lock onto the valve was made of plastic and it bent)
Then you could consider (for on the bike) a CO2 pump such as http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Innov ... 300004665/ or http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Lezyn ... 360040922/ ...then when they come back into stock buy some of these http://www.tyreinflators.co.uk/co2-cart ... d_227.html which are dead cheap. I carry the pump and one extra cartridge. One 12gm will do a tyre from flat in a couple of seconds and have a bit left in it, but you'll throw it away when you get back cos it'll only be about a quarter full. The GI one comes with a velcro clamp thing to attach it to the bike too, but just put it in your pocket or in a tool bottle or one of those yucky seat bag things.
If you ride a lot with others who are carrying stuff then CO2 pump solution will be fine if your rides aren't mammoth ones. Also its nice not having to wait in the rain both for you and everyone else when you can pump up a new tube this quickly.0 -
I use an Innovations Second Wind. It's a co2/ pump combo thing. I'm a co2 convert. It's easy to use and you can get 100psi + into a tube in seconds. I carry 2 spare tubes and 2 cartridges in my saddle pack .
The Second Wind is carbon and feels like a quality item. You have to be careful that the handle doesn't fall off as mine did on Sunday. I emailed Innovations on Monday & they're sending me a replacement foc. Good back up too!
