Upgrading Forks

I recently bought a GT avalanche 1.0 wMTB (2008 model), its a super little bike for what I do at the moment. However, after reading the warning label on the forks (Suntour XSR100 Magnesium) it sounds like I can't do anything more than nice XC trails and under no circumstances do any DH, jumps or freeride. I do understand as the bike is primarly a XC bike, however I do like to do a little bit of easy DH etc.

Should I upgrade the forks, and if so what would you suggest bearing in mind its a hardtail ??

Thanks!

i would not worry about what it says on the forks as you will not be doing what they mean by DH or Jumping on that bike

upgrades well it depends on how much you have to spend.

either a Tora or a Reba (both of the air sprung version).
