Groupset weights?

I'm thinking of upgrading my groupset from full Sora to full something else, mainly because I was searching the web and saw that the Dura-Ace chainset is nearly half the weight of my Sora model.

So does anyone know the weights of complete groupsets in comparison to Sora? I'm thinking Ultegra level or Sram, Campaq equivalents.

Wheels will be dealt with once the goupset is finalised

Check out weight weenies, they have weights for most components. Also I think the SRAM stuff is the lightest per £ if weight is what your most concerned about.

SRAM is about the lightest there is . I've got a Force groupset and that's lighter than Dura Ace at about £600 if you shop around. I would recommend it to anyone ( at that price....full retail is over £1k).

I have SRAM Rival and while it is not the lightest in the world it performs well...I traded from Ultegra and while it takes a bit of getting used to it is second nature these days...

The other thing is to mix and match according to your budget; e.g. Force brakes, Red Crank, Cassette, front/rear mech etc...

After all slowing down is over rated!!!
