  • It's as if they're showing the Tour de France how to keep things interesting before a final day showdown. Uphill finish, short TT couple of flat stages then BOOM!

Extrapolate that over three weeks and you get a better route than this year's Tour.

The two are uncomparable its a piece of cake to keep a 5 day Tour intersesting until the last day, heck even the Eneco tour can manange that. A three week gig is a different beast altogether too many varaibles to compare it.

Just watched the final 5 km of the stage.

Mosquera won the stage after following an attack by Juan Mauricio Soler, then attacking again on the steepest part with about 1500 m to go.

Danielson and Valverde watched each other until the same really steep bit, then Valverde just upped the pace and rode away. Game over for Danielson. He looked like he was really on the rivet... just couldn't do anything. Valverde wins the Tour of Burgos.

Ah! I couldn't find any feed to watch it : (

I was keen given I knew Valverde would have gone for it being only 5 secs behind. I'm glad for him.

    As I was thinking about this afternoon's Chelsea-Man U festivities 'it's a pity they can't both lose.'

Scary, what is there a shortage of decent looking podium girls, damn GFC. Its going to be a complete joke when he lines up for the Vuelta even worse if he wins. Wonder how Tommy feels about it, what makes it even worse is that his on the CLEAN team
