Ae or Dalbeattie?

I'm staying close to both this coming Saturday, which shall I go to? Will be riding the red route. Already done Mabie by the way.

    I preferred Ae although I was feeling a bit peaky whilst going round Dalbeattie. I felt Ae had a bit more to offer and had more flow. I know many others on here prefer Dalbeattie but I just couldn`t get into it.

    The best centre around that area though is definitely Kirroughtree, well worth the extra half hour or so drive.

    Ae for me too. Spent the first week in June in glorious sunshine doing Dalbeattie, Mabie, Kirro and Ae and out of those four like pdid says Ae just seemed to flow more for me.

    Worth doing just to get to the end and Omega Man, massive grin factor material :D

    All the others were great too though and cant wait to go back in Sept and do them all again

    Ae it is then. If its anywhere near as good as Mabie I'll be happy!

    What time are you thinking about riding?

    It`s only a 7ml ride out to Ae for me so could join you for a ride, coffee & cake.

    They have been doing some trail maint over the past few weeks, cutting all the vegitation which was hiding the trail :roll:
