Anyone else go ?
I went, mainly to promote a local cycling groups activities.
I enjoyed myself, , mass participation rides are always great.
There were lots of families there, 4,5,6yr old kids pedalling like f*** and turning red very quickly
Good BMX/TRIALS display and a lot of fun talking to other enthusiasts.
A good event, despite being promoted by the evil Murdock. :?

I went - met up with the Wheelers to see if they were nice and did a couple of laps before going for a ride out Dunham Massey way. It was good fun, and most people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Some people have no road sense though, trying to barge past people when there was no space in front, or changing direction quickly without bothering to look. Ah well...
What cycling group were you promoting?0 -

IBIKEMCR http://www.ibikemcr.org.uk/ .
It's a local volunteer org. , that promote cycling in many forms inc. critical mass.
They do a decent job so I spent an hour handing out leaflets at the town hall promoting their cycling festival this October.
Yep there were a few 'nutters' there, clearly the only time they will use a bike in the city centre again but the majority were OK.

I was looking on your website last week when I was off work. Looks quite interesting . I was even thinking of getting in touch and coming for a ride , but not sure if I would keep up with you guys.
Liking the bike polo thoughBianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!
I RIDE A KONA CADABRA -would you like to come and have a play with my magic link?0 -
I went to the London Freewheel last year & enjoyed it.
So pleased that there was one closer to home.
Had a great day (wife cycled & I towed the 2 kids - 22 miles) - my only issue was the ride from the hub didn't happen - so we made our own way there over a LOT of broken glass!
We took a different route back & whilst I had to body punch a drunk from knocking me off my bike, it was a lot better!0 -

Not 'my' website, I just volunteered to hand out flyers.
I've never ridden on one of their road rides, I've been to many of the monthly critical mass events.
This particular group is considered to have anarchistic leanings though the critical mass rides have individuals from all political backgrounds.
I tend to lobby for cycling rights as an individual and will help any cycling group that I feel is doing a decent job
