£1095 seems ok and quite a challange for over 100miles for 9 days. I m seriously considering it.

Looks an interesting ride, and the route looks better than many of the end to end options.

At the moment I'm still wrecked and can't ride more than a couple of hundred metres after the crash on the etape

It strike me as perfect prep for the 2010 etape in July. take a nice heavy/comfy bike. Ride for 100+ miles every dayon the end2end - then rest, switch to carbon et voila!
