Kuota Kharma or Kebel

I am looking at buying a new frameset at the end of the season (a winter project - keep me occupied). I am looking at Kuota as I have heard nothing but good things about them.

The Kharma seems to be a very good frame but for under a couple of hundred pounds more I can get the Kebel.

Does anybody have any experience of these frames and if so is the Kebel worth the extra money to get over the Kharma?

I am gradually narrowing it down - I have dismissed the Orbea Onix (although it was hard) and just need to settle on one of the Kuotas.

ive just done myfirst 15 miles on my kharma. very smoothand lighter than i expected. personally i didn't like how the kebel looked - which is what swung me to the kharma.

what do you ride at the moment ? - to me the kharma is a smooth comfortable bike - must confess it doesn't (yet) acclerate like my alu pinarello - so if you like the look of the kebel and want the acceleration over comfort then its the kebel.

I have an aluminium Kinesis Racelite T at the moment so this will be a big step up for me - I am looking for something that will be comfortable on long rides but I will also be able to drag up hills, possibly even mountains and be competitive in sportives.

I was also looking at the Orbea Onix (which I love) but it is not so widely available in this country.

The Kharma seemed good on hills (even with me on it) - so the kharma - i think would meet your requirements - and is great looking bike. ....I got an upgrade to ultegra for an extra £90 . it really comes down to if you want to spend the extra£200 on the kebel.......or upgrade the wheels & gruppo on the Kharma - which iswhat I did.

It is just the frameset I am after as I will dress it with existing components from my Kinesis until I can afford upgrade them.

In fairness here I am struggling to put the Orbea Onix to rest and if I managed to pick a frameset up for the right price would probably go for that.

Anybody got any opinion on how the Onix compares to the Kebel/Kharma?
