I have a specialized stumpjumper (alu) which back in the day (2004) was pretty much top of the range. Going to take off the suspension forks (80mm) and convert to a starter tourer. Can anyone recommend the best rigid forks please - guessing cro-mo steel will be best - a fraction less harsh than rigid alu..I dont have eyelets on the frame but eyelets on the fork obviously a good start before I get to work on the rest of the bike
