Hey people,
Quick question...I've move my levers in a touch and now in a position where keeping my bell seems tricky without it being awkward as hell. Do many of you remove it or just keep it on?

Bells are hardcore. Anyone who says otherwise is just plain wrong
keep the bell or get a smaller one if it doesn't fit properly.Everything in moderation ... except beer
Beer in moderation ... is a waste of beer
If riding an XC race bike is like touching the trail,
then riding a rigid singlespeed is like licking it
... or being punched by it, depending on the day0 -
The end of the bell?
That would be the bell end then?Pictures are better than words because some words are big and hard to understand.

What is this bell end you speak of? :?You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -

'tis an object in the shape of a dome which, when flicked, often leads to an audible warning of one's displeasure.Pictures are better than words because some words are big and hard to understand.

often used to wind ramblers up I believe. It's a clever little device, it works whether it is there (stop ringing your bell you arrogant oik) or not there (you should have a bell on that thing to let people know you're coming). It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -

I've never used mine to wind ramblers up. Oh, I see what you mean.... :oops:0 -
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Bev and I passed a group of ramblers today, when we saw the at 30 m away we sloowed to a crawl and I started shouted 'on your right!', keeping it up until we passed them all (30+).
No problems apart from one person who said "nice to let us know, shame you didn't do it earlier!".
you can't win with some people.
They would certainly not have hear a bell.--

Bells
What could I have used on Friday to warn Action Dad, his two little daughters and their pointless yapping dog that the narrow little trail they were walking on was in fact section 16 of Follow The Dog?
Sometimes a bell is not enough :?0
