Hi. I have a toe injury (multiple breaks to the same big toe) which has left me with a swollen, arthritic big toe joint. My foot is consequently "higher" than average. As a result I need a shoe which is roomy, ie has a large toe box. Otherwise my feet are on the wide side of regular and pretty big (UK11, EU46).

Any suggestions for a large fitting cycling shoe? I have heard Northwave are pretty roomy? I currently have Specialized, which are ok but only just.

Any help appreciated. Col.

The NW Aerator looks pretty generous in that department.

I use Northwave Typhoons, only shoes wide enough for me, although I haven't tried any Sidi "Megas"
