Then if you think about it the next evolutionary step is, yes you've guessed, it PB, cheese and cucumber. Lovely!0 -

A mug of tea with a couple of 1" thick slices of toasted fresh bread with peanut butter and jam/Nutella on is my weekly reward for being dragged around the supermarket.
The next time you're making a chili try adding a tablespoon of peanut butter and a couple of chunks of chocolate to it while it simmers......bloody lovely!!!He who dies with the most toys wins!0 -

Bloody American influence again with their "peanut butter and jello" malarky.

Yum, peanut butter kit-kats
As for the King, he liked his peanut butter and banana sandwiches deep fried and with half a pound of normal butter on first.
Remember seeing a crackin tv programme about Elvis' eating habits - apparently got a private jet to fly out his favourite sandwiches to him when he was on tour.
Some wee shop where they made a 2 foot long baguette with 2lbs of bacon and rasperry jelly and the big man used to wolf them right down two at a time.
28lbs of solid matter came out of his lower colon at the autopsy I believe...........
Might have been Arena or one of these sorts of programmes.
reckoned it all came from his deprived childhood - comfort food - when he could afford anything he wanted after he became famous he would always get the things he couldn't have as a child like burgers and all that crap above.

I'd rather eat an grout sandwich with extra mature shoe insoles!
