WD-40. I just spray a small amount on the frame and polish it off with a piece of kitchen roll.0

I know that brushed stainless steel (as on my fridge) comes up great with Johnson's Baby Oil....then again what doesn't
Same as the WD-40, and to quote Mr Miyagi "wax on wax off.."
I think it has to be either mineral based or non-mineral based...whatever Johnson's is...0 -
Cif (Jif) followed by baby oil.0

+1 on the baby oil - stops fingerprints as well.Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0

Leave WD40 well alone......its not good for your bike!0

I've been using WD40 on a titanium frame for ten years without any adverse effect. You'll have to explain your reasoning nicensleazy.0

Pledge after washing. Stops fingerprints and smells much nicer than WD 400

I rather like the smell of WD40, but GT85smells better....

MucOff for me. Followed by a slight dab of WD40 if I've missed anything.0

GT85 for cleaning white bar tape0

Thanks for the replies.
Do you wash off the gt85 / wd40 / baby lotion?
If not does it leave a slightly sticky residue for more dirt to attach to?0 -
Don't know about gt85/wd40, but the baby lotion is just for finishing, not for cleaning. Don't use too much and rub it well and there is no residue as such. It just makes the surface loo more even and takes away any blotchiness.0

I already get funny looks from the Mrs when I slope off to the garage after dark, what the hell would she think if I asked to borrow the baby oil :shock:0 -
Ti does oxidise slightly and becomes darker. Three or four times a year polish lightly with Goddards or similar silver polish - brings it up like new. The rest of the time just use muck-off or similar and water.0

+1 for WD40 - I've always had good results with it.0
